Burdett Coutts Community Play
Val directed Burdett Coutts at Home, a short play by June Rose, Lisa Rose and Penny Dimond, based on the life of nineteenth century philanthropist, Angela Burdett-Coutts. Coutts was the wealthiest woman of her era after Queen Victoria, and owned the land on which the Holly Lodge Estate in North London was built after her death.
Performances were held at The Holly Lodge Community Centre in London. This was followed by a scrumptious Victorian tea.
